‘Battle of Germany’ Print by Paul Nash

‘Battle of Germany’ was the last painting British artist Paul Nash completed under his employment for the War Artists Advisory Committee. The painting is a sequel to his landscape ‘Battle of Britain’ and depicts a German city under attack from aerial bombardment. Despite being given access to reports from crews that participated in German air raids, Nash produced a predominantly abstract canvas.  Produced on matt 250gsm conservation digital paper.
