Printemps (Spring) Original Lithograph by Marc Chagall (1938)

In 1938, Marc Chagall created a colour lithograph titled Printemps (Spring) for the third issue of the art magazine Verve. Edited by Tériade and printed by Mourlot, this issue featured seasonal works by various notable artists. Chagall’s piece is famous for showing an anthropomorphic goat playing a violin with a woman seated on its shoulder.
