Edward Baird

Edward Baird (1904-1949) was a Scottish artist known for his work in the field of Surrealism. He was born in Montrose, Scotland, and studied at the Edinburgh College of Art and the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris.

Baird’s work was strongly influenced by Surrealism, and he was associated with the Scottish Surrealist group in the 1930s. His paintings often featured dreamlike and otherworldly scenes, characterized by their vivid colors and strange juxtapositions of objects and figures.
