Peter Iden (1945-2012)

Peter Iden, was the definitive modern painter of the South Downs, the landscape which surrounded him throughout his life.

Iden first exhibited at the Royal Institution of Painters in Watercolour in London in 1968, when he was 23, later putting on the first of a series of annual one-man shows in Chichester.
