Hardback.  First edition.  Decorated boards with leather spine. Deckle-edged paper.  Housed in original dustjacket.  Hand numbered and initialed by Pepler to front endpaper.  Harry Douglas Clark Pepler (1878–1951), the printer, writer and poet, founded The Guild of St Joseph and St Dominic with Eric Gill and Desmond Chute.  Condition: One inch long slit to front hinge.  Dustjacket lightly worn.  Slight toning to end-papers.  Some light pencil annotations that may be by the author or one of his associates at the St Dominic’s Press. “See new Act I in Typescript” it states at the top of page one.
