Britain at the Venice Biennale 1895-1995

This book records the names of the thousand artists who have represented Britain at the forty-six Venice Biennales.  The main section is an extended chronology that lists artists who exhibited in the British Pavilion, at the general exhibitions, or at other official exhibitions associated with the Biennale.  Also included is an essay on the origins and metamorphoses of the British Pavilion.  Artists include: Frank Auerbach, Henry Moore, Graham Sutherland, Paul Nash and many others.

Condition: Card covers a little shelf-worn, otherwise very good.
