A striking collection of chromolithograph illustrations by the likes of Herman Cossmann, Wilhelm Hartz, Robert Engels, F.A. and Hanns Herkendell, Otto Lendecke, Harald Schwerdtfeger, Marty, George Barbier, and others. Highlights include vivid fashion prints from Gazette du Bon Ton and a set of 12 tipped-in color poster stamps by Adolf Uzarski for department store magnate Leonhard Tietz. Colour pictorial wrappers designed by Uzarski. Condition: worn and chipped to spine, otherwise very good.
