In 1930, the refreshment room murals at Morley College, South London’s legendary home of adult education, were opened amid international press acclaim. Edward Bawden was one of the young artists involved, and 25 years after his death, the college marks its 125th anniversary in Morley College’s own gallery with an exhibition focused on Bawden’s genius at telling stories in pictures. This well illustrated catalogue accompanies the exhibition.
