Hornet and Wild Rose: The Art of Tirzah Garwood

Limited edition: one of 400 copies only for sale. Boards covered with quarter-cloth, paper label and a patterned design paper by Tirzah Garwood. In 2011 one of the Fleece Press’ most important books was published, Long Live Great Bardfield, the autobiography of Tirzah Garwood. At 155,000 words, the text meant that the 300 illustrations had to be very carefully included, and inevitably, a lot of Tirzah’s wonderful art was omitted. It was intended to publish this companion volume within a short time, but was delayed. This new publication will match the format of the autobiography.
