Hardback.  First Edition.  Original Yellow Cloth boards with dark brown titling.  Marshall’s study of interior decoration of the 1930s, including chapters on Fabrics and carpets as 275 photographic illustrations of Entrance Halls, Living-rooms, Dining Rooms, Libraries and more.   Signed and inscribed by Frank Brangwyn to the son of his housekeeper, Edgar Peacock: ‘To Edgar Peacock from Frank Brangwyn with all good wishes 1938’.  An additional inscription from Edgar Peacock reads: ‘and I now wish to pass this book on to Ray Rudge with best wishes’.  Pages clean.  Binding strong.  Boards a little scuffed and lightly edge-worn with light red mark to rear panel.  Slight foxing to endpapers and spine a little shaken, otherwise very good.
