‘My Life’ was the title Marc Chagall gave to the autobiography which he completed in 1922 in Berlin. That year the 35-year-old artist had left his native Russia forever, moving first to the German capital and then to Paris, where he remained until the outbreak if the Second World War. The crucial developments that took place in Chagall’s art during these two decades are the subject of this book. Condition: very good.
