First published in 1949, New Ways of Gravure became a standard work on the techniques of printmaking.

The author S.W Hayter founded the famous Atelier 17 in Paris where such great names as Picasso, Miro, Dali, Ernst and Chagall worked together using the techniques described and illustrated in this book.

This title is in very good out of print condition with minimal wear. It is a companion volume to the same author’s About Prints, pubished in 1962
