Second printing of Harling’s brilliant and profusely illustrated introduction to Eric Ravilious’s wood-engravings. ‘His death was a considerable misfortune for English design. He was thirty-nine years of age, and had reached a distinctive and distinguished position in those divisions of design in which he practised’. Condition: no dustjacket. Green cloth boards a little faded and lightly edge-worn. Small dark scuff mark to top edge of title page, otherwise very good.
