Signature: A Quadrimestrial of Typography and Graphic Arts. New Series, Number 1-18. Edited by Oliver Simon. Complete run of this iconic magazine. Highlights include: ‘Two Drawings by Lucian Freud’, ‘Chagall as a Book Illustrator’, ‘The Wood-engravings of Lucian Pissarro’, ‘The Drawings of Gerald Wilde’ and much more. Condition: Volume 1 is rebound with facsimile paper covers. Volume 9 and 10 lack original publisher’s paper wrappers. Volume 8 is damaged to top of spine and with a tear to paper wrapper. Letter ‘M’ written in either pen or pencil to the front panel of paper wrappers of all volumes except volume 3, 15, 1, 10, 9. Some light shelf-wear to issues, otherwise very good.
