This book tells the story of the Guinness Lithographs which were commissioned by Guinness Breweries in the 1950s and 1960s to publicise their book, The Guinness Book of Records.

The lithographs were pinned up on the walls of pubs and working men’s clubs and illustrate world records of the day. The images are bold, colourful and often humourous and provide a wonderful insight into the social and artistic history of the time.
