An edition of 375 copies.  This is one of 75 copies with a folder of 10 prints.

Dark green leather spine. Boards reproducing a marble paper design by Tirzah Ravilious which is again used for the linen covered portfolio and the menu which is loosely inserted.

While working as an official war artist in 1940, Eric Ravilious produced two series of lithograph prints while based at HMS Dolphin, the submarine base in Hampshire.

These images were not published at the time and instead were sold as very limited edition prints. This was the first book to be published to include all of the 2 series of prints.
