Clothbound hardback in cloth-covered slipcase.  Graphic art and Typography.  A history of this  famous dining club whose first president, Holbrook Jackson, said that ‘it had not been in the business of the Double Crown Club to make history, being content that history should be made by its members, who have been responsible for most of the events of typographical importance in this country since 1924’.  Includes the work of artists as diverse as Edward Ardizzone and Graham Sutherland.  Fold-outs.   Number 47 of 500 hand-numbered and signed copies. Binding strong.  No inscriptions, highlighting or underlining.  Light stain to front end-paper.   Slight fraying and loosening of the Cloth covering to top edge of slipcase.
