Published from 1958 to 1963, it sought to act as “a meeting-ground between poet and painter, sculptor and architect.” It featured a wide range of artists and styles—albeit reflecting Hayman’s taste for figurative art—including John Banting, Keith Vaughan, Cecil Collins, Cynthia Pell, Ben Shahn, James Ensor, Gordon Baldwin, Jean Arp, Joachim Karsch, Arthur Boyd, Ghika, Carel Weight and much more.
