The Palace of Pleasure (Douglas Percy Bliss)

A collection of tales from various Greek, Latin, Italian, French, and English authors.  Four volume set. Limited to 500 with this being number 419.   Each volume contains a beautiful colour frontispiece by Douglas Percy Bliss.  Grey Cloth spines. Decorated boards. Condition: Each volume suffers from some slight foxing (mainly to the prelims) and some slight cracking to guttering.  Boards a little scuffed, slightly foxed and edge-worn.  Rear panel and rear end-papers of Volume 4 lightly damp-stained.  Bindings strong.  Text block clean and bright.  No inscriptions, highlighting or underlining.
