This ancient coastal path, the Saxon Shore Way is an area with which both Fay Godwin and Alan Sillitoe have strong links. This book grew out of their discovery of each other’s love for Kent and their decision to do a book together about it. It was agreed that Alan Sillitoe would walk the ancient Saxon Shore Way and describe its impact on him. Fay Godwin would explore photographically the land and seascapes through the seasons of a year. Their parallel visions have come together in the pages of The Saxon Shore Way. Condition: slight spotting to endpapers and pastedowns. Dust-wrapper a little shelf-worn. Very slight sunning to top edge of from board.
