Hardback.  Decorated boards.  174 illustrations.  Cooper’s study includes chapters on: Graham Sutherland’s Artistic Personality and Achievements, The Landscape Years: 1921-45, The War Artist: 1940-45, and The Post-War Years (Religious Subjects etc).  Condition: Boards a little edge-worn with some yellowing to front and rear panels.   Light foxing to top edge of title-page, otherwise very good. Acetate covers worn to edges with a 3 inch closed tear to top right corner of its rear panel. Some light spotting to prelims and endpapers, otherwise very good.
