Living and working from her Volkswagen van, Janine Wiedel uses her camera to record the people and the atmosphere that make up the West Midlands of England, an area critical to the Industrial Revolution. Her photographs give insight to the life of the Iron, Steel, Coal and Chain workers; the Dickensian atmosphere of jewellery makers; and a strange white world of the internationally famous potteries.
