You can still ride the cable cars in San Francisco – they are the world’s last manually operated. Here we have a composite image of three zigging and zagging the steep streets of the City and ending, as we see, on a turntable. Sasek loved these cable cars and used them extensively to illustrate his whimsical guide to San Francisco.
