Contains twelve superb original etchings on Fabriano mould-made paper, each numbered in pencil and blind-stamped for the edition. Also includes a sixteen-page booklet, Robin Tanner: An Appreciation by John Russell Taylor, printed by The Rocket Press. “Some artists make us look again, with new eyes, at the world. And then there is a third sort, that seems to do both at the same time, taking the material of the visible world which is open to any of us and so transmuting it through the intensity of their vision that we end up uncertain whether we are looking outwards or inwards, why what ought to be familiar looks so amazingly unfamiliar, why what should be totally new to us feels as though we have known it all our lives. Robin Tanner was one of this last, rare breed.”
