The creator of Adam’s Fifth Rib and Life Lines, two brilliant successes, is here seen in a new light. His new volume consists of 80 plates depicting London characters, scenes and children, the English countryside and country types. Practically all the subjects have been taken with a miniature camera, and the book forms a distinct contrast to Mr. Everard’s photographic nude studies, thus emphasising the author’s versatility of outlook on shape and design. Condition: dust-wrapper a little shelf-worn with losses to head and tail of spine and part of the back cover, chips also to front cover. Orangle cloth boards frayed at head of spine, also fading corresponding to the losses of the dust jacket.
