This book represents a significant milestone in Cristóbal Hara’s bibliography and, consequently, in the publishing history of photography books, to which he has contributed some of the most influential works of recent decades, many of which are now out of print. Edited and sequenced by the author himself, this book compiles photographs that have become part of the Spanish photographic landscape, a country that has always struggled to distinguish between being and seeming; a transcendental ontological question that, in the Spanish case, has resulted in something idiosyncratic.
