Kate Mosse Talk & Book Signing for Books Are My Bag Day! – Saturday 11th October 2014
On Saturday 11th September we were delighted to be joined by International bestelling author Kate Mosse to celebrate the publication of her new book The Taxidermist’s Daughter and Books are my Bag day.
‘Books are my Bag’ is a nationwide campaign to support independent bookshops. This collaboration between publishers, bookshops and authors is the biggest ever promotion of bookshops. The campaign designed pro bono by M&C Saatchi was launched in 2013, and this years aim was to get an author in every bookshop on Saturday October 11th. This was also the launch day of the specially commissioned Tracey Emin book bag, and a limited number are still available from Pallant Gallery Bookshop, so come and buy yours before they are all snapped up!
Kate gave an introduction to her new novel in the Reserve Collection lecture room at Pallant House Gallery, and then stayed to meet customers and sign copies of her new book.
