Martin Amis: This Land (With Signed Photo) (2021)

A haunting photographic exploration of the North Kent Marshes, situated along the Thames Estuary in south-east England. Martin Amis began photographing this landscape in 2011, with much of the work reproduced here made during 2020 and 2021. Devoid of human figures, the photographs dwell on a landscape of grazing animals, derelict industry and expansive skies, evoking both the region’s rich history and its continuing transformation by nature and human activity.
