Sutherland: the Wartime Drawings

This is first english translation of this book by Roberto Tassi, the Italian critic and specialist on Sutherland. Focussing on the five years that Sutherland spent working as an Official War Artist and including one hundred and fifty drawings and some preliminary sketches selected especially by Sutherland, the book also features descriptions by Sutherland of life during the war years. This is a rare, out of print book, in very good condition and with the original dust jacket.
