Edward Wesson was one of the greatest watercolourists of the twentieth century. His work spanned nearly half a century, ranging from the 1930s until his death in 1983 during which period he also taught extensively.

The choice illustrations in this book are truly representative of the broad talents of the artist and include both pure watercolour and pen and wash. None of the pictures included have been published in book form before and represent some of his finest work.
