16 Situations is about the way in which an object changes a situation and the way in which a situation changes an object. The concern is not only a formal one, but an enquiry into the nature of sculpture and its role as an artifact in society. For instance, in the great collaborative Art and Industry, as it is at present constituted, an industrialist sits with a token sculpture outside his window. Condition: some faint dust-marks to covers, otherwise very good.
