The catalogue is presented in two volumes, slipcased and contains over 2,500 illustrations, some 120 of them in colour. This catalogue raisonne is the first systematic presentation of Poussin’s drawings to appear in more than a generation, and answers the need for a standard replacement for the catalogue provided by Walter Friedlander and Anthony Blunt.
