A new booklet edited by Emma Mason which brings together two stories. A tale written by Barnett Freedman himself and Freedman’s story as told by Monja Danischewsky, Freedman’s former pupil at the RCA. After leaving the RCA, Danischewsky went on to have a fascinating career and was head of publicity at Ealing Film Studios where he later employed Freedman as a designer. The tale of how these two became friends is written by Danischewsky with great humour and warmth.
