A selection of Rupert Brooke’s most famous poems presented in a special limited edition to mark the centenary of his death. The book has been designed to reflect the values of the fine press movement of the early 20th century. The text, printed letterpress, is illustrated with original lithographs and quarter-bound in leather with hand-made paste-paper sides by Victoria Hall.
Limited to 1,750 hand-numbered copies, for sale to members of the Folio Society, and 20 lettered copies hors de commerce. This is one of the scarce lettered copies, being “Q”. Quarter-bound in goatskin, with paste-paper sides. Set in hot metal in Monotype Walbaum. With Ronald Blythe’s ownership signature to half-title page.

Condition: slipcase a little worn with some marks. Paper boards scuffed around the edges of front panel, otherwise very good.
