‘Pink Roses in a Chinese Blue and White’ Vase Print by Leslie Hunter

Leslie Hunter was a Scottish painter, regarded as one of the four artists of the Scottish Colourists, a group of Post-Impressionist painters that have had a long-lasting influence on contemporary Scottish art and culture. Hunter produced a number of still-life paintings including ‘Pink Roses in a Chinese Blue and White Vase’ that were popular amongst progressive critics and collectors mainly due to his treatment of light.
