Part if the “How to do it” series. Jagger provides insights into his techniques for creating his superb sculptures, including his approaches to modeling and sculpting different materials. It features instructional content supported by black-and-white photographic plates, offering a glimpse into the artist’s studio and his methods of working with clay and stone. Also included is Jagger’s analyses of twelves great works of sculpture, including Rodin’s The Burghers of Calais and Henry Poole’s The Little Apple.  An important work by one of the greatest sculptors of the 20th century. Scarce in original dust-wrapper. Condition: some slight wear to top and tail of cloth spine. Dust-wrapper lightly worn to extremities. Slight spotting to endpapers and pastedowns, otherwise very good.
