Text by Bernard Leech. “It is twenty-six years since Hamads and I mixed the mortar for the brickwork of the first St Ives kiln, clumsily trying to used the long handled Cornish shovel to the kindly amusement of the builders who were completing the roof over our heads”. Condition: covers a little worn to extremities with a small segment of loss to top right corner of front panel. Some light dust marking to rear cover.
