One of the 20th century’s greatest graphic designers.
Largely self-taught, Abram had established himself as a designer and poster artist by the end of the 1930s and was awarded commissions by London Transport, Shell, the Co-operative Building Society and the General Post Office.  During the Second World War he was appointed ‘Official War Poster Artist’ and while in this role created over 100 designs
