Mary Adshead
Mary Adshead was a British artist and muralist who lived from 1904 to 1995. She was known for her vibrant and detailed paintings, as well as her large-scale murals that depicted historical and allegorical scenes.
Adshead studied at the Slade School of Fine Art in London in the 1920s, where she developed a strong interest in mural painting. She went on to create murals for a variety of public spaces, including schools, hospitals, and government buildings.
