Travelling across Great Britain, Grayson Perry explored the aspirations and identity of people from all walks of life whilst filming the Channel 4 documentary ‘All in the Best Possible Taste‘.

The Vanity of Small Differences follows the progress of ideas from initial sketches and photographic research to the completed series of works. Each tapestry is shown as a full page fold-out illustration alongside full descriptions and details for each individual piece.

The tapestries are currently on show at the Sunderland Museum in the Wintergarden until 29th September 2013, then moving on to the Manchester Art Gallery from 31st October 2013 to 31st January 2014.
