A Garden Pet Print by Christopher Brown

From a series of exclusive artists’ prints commissioned for Pallant House Gallery. Exhibited alongside the 2020 exhibition ‘Drawn to Nature: Gilbert White and the Artists’.

Christopher Brown was an assistant to Edward Bawden. He has recalled how: ‘returning from Cornwall one year, Bawden suggested a detour to Selborne. He would have done a great job illustrating the book. He was extremely fond of both the Nash and Ravilious editions.’
