Artists and the East End: A Survey and Catalogue

Artists and the East End aims to document for the first time the wide variety of paintings, drawings, and prints made by artists this century which represent the East End of London: Whitechape, Limehouse, Wapping, Shadwell, the Isle of Dogs, Poplar, Bow, Bethnal Green have all been represented visually by artists at some time.  Volume includes the work of William Rothenstein, Pearl Binder, James Boswell, Barnett Freedman as well as less well known names such as Terence Dalley, Ron Morgan, and Noel Spencer.
