Design for Death (1967)

“No one really expects to die, but everyone does. In Design for Death, Barbara Jones shows us some of the beautiful , vulgar, frightening and propitiatory things that people make when confronted by that shocking and unwelcome reminder, the death of another: a friend, a relative, or a pet. Condition: dust-jacket price-clipped with a half-inch closed tear to bottom left corner of rear panel and one to it’s top right corner. Creasing to top of dust-wrappers spine. Purple cloth boards sunned to top edge with a damp stain to bottom of spine resulting in some colour bleed through to the back of the dust-wrapper’s spine (see photo).
