Paperback.  First Edition.  Scarce catalogue of a show of Magda Cordell’s primitivist and Taschist painting.  ‘The impact of American art on Europe in the last six years changed the look of art’ writes Lawrence Alloway in his foreword, ‘it is like a city after a battle; the walls are splashed, scarred, clotted, imprinted with the traces of human violence and necessity’.  Condition: Covers a little marked and scuffed with some light edge-wear, otherwise very good.
