Framed original poster for Ian Hamilton Finlay’s exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery in 1977 featuring such works as the Battle of Midway (1976-7), produced in collaboration with James Stoddart and James Boyd, in which Japanese and U.S. aircraft carriers were depicted as beehives, and fighter planes as swarming bees. Condition: very light foxing and small hole to top corner (image unaffected), otherwise very good.
