‘From 1930 Freedman worked extensively for Shell. His designs included posters and a large volume of other advertising materials, including novelty items such as an ingenious peepshow, made in 1935. The peepshow opens up in concertina, with eyeholes through which the viewer sees two scenes, on of London in winter and the other of a woodland walk in summer’
