This 288 page illustrated book gives a comprehensive insight into the life of this interesting artist, who was married to the writer and journalist, Anthony West, son of HG Wells and Dame Rebecca West. Church included amongst her circle of close friends, Ivon Hitchens, John Piper, John Betjeman, Frances Hodgkins, Julian Trevelyan, Mary Fedden and Frances Partridge.

John Piper called her “A Real Painter” who moved in Bohemian and Bloomsbury circles.
