‘Kinetic Feature’ Print by Paul Nash

In the early 1930s, Paul Nash embraced modernism with renewed enthusiasm. The artist co-founded the avant-garde group Unit One with his peers Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Ben Nicholson, championing modernism in Britain. ‘Kinetic Feature’ is – unusually for Nash – neither a landscape nor an interior, but rather a work of almost total abstraction in which he brings the feeling of movement to a gauzy, dreamlike composition.
