Original publisher’s Blue cloth with gilt titling to spine.   Gilt stamped emblem depicting a profile portrait of Murray Marks to the front panel.  Account of the life and friendships of Murray Marks (1840-1918), the Dutch art dealer and collector who knew the Pre-Raphaelites, Whistler and many others luminaries of literary and artistic scene in London in the 19th century.  Condition:  Spine faded.  Blue cloth boards a little rubbed and marked with some fading.  Light patch of wear to front paste-down.
