Hardback.  Cream cloth with marbled end-papers.  Edited by Gleeson White as part of the Ex-Libris Series. Printed at the Chiswick Press on Tall Japanese Vellum. Limited Edition to 130 copies. Walter Crane’s study of book illustration, featuring his observations on the French, German, Italian, French, Flemish and Dutch schools.   Illustrated throughout by Crane.  Some pages differing in height (with not loss to text).  Condition: bookplate to front paste-down, otherwsie very good.
